Tripoff
Terms of Service
Last updated July 14, 2026. Tripoff is in early alpha testing. By using it, you're agreeing to the terms below.
Alpha software
Tripoff is early and actively changing. Features may shift, break, or disappear without notice, and we can't promise the AI-suggested destinations, distance estimates, or cost estimates are perfectly accurate — treat them as a helpful starting point, always double-check real prices and logistics before you book anything.
Accounts
Organizers sign in with Google. Family members you invite can vote from a link with no account at all. You're responsible for keeping your own Google account secure.
Trip Passes
A Trip Pass is a one-time, per-trip purchase that unlocks deeper AI scouting and your next trip — never a subscription, and never a fee on anyone's vote. Payments are processed by Stripe. If something goes wrong with a charge, email us and we'll sort it out — during alpha, refunds are handled case by case.
Your content
The trip details and votes you and your family submit stay yours. We use them to run the product for you and, in aggregate and never in a way that identifies you, to improve it.
Our content
The Tripoff name, logo, and the site itself — its design, text, and software — belong to us. You're welcome to use the product to plan your trips; you're not licensed to copy, resell, or build a competing product from it.
Fair use
Don't use Tripoff for anything illegal, don't try to break or scrape it, and don't abuse invite links to spam people who didn't ask to be invited.
No warranty
Tripoff is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind, while it's in alpha. We're not liable for trip decisions you make based on it, or for any interruption in service.
Changes
We may update these terms as Tripoff grows out of alpha. We'll keep this page current rather than burying changes.
